Last of the Christmas Cards

Well I did it!!! 

I finished the 30 days, 30 cards!!! I reallly wanted to stay committed to this and I have almost met my homemade Christmas cards needs, just a handful more to go. My goal was to use my "Christmas stash" that I already had, and I did. Nothing too new, but a few cards did use a bit of the This and That EP line, only because I had already broken into it and was just pulling from the scraps. I also added alot of machine stitching, since I was working on trying to keep the cards fairly simple, and not too bulky (for mailing purposes).

GDT @ Crafty Steals Blog...

Hello and TGIF!!!!

I am soooo excited to share that I am up as a GDT on the Crafty Steals blog today!!!! I have been a HUGE fan of their site and great deals for years, so I am very honored to be on the blog.

All my creations are using the Fancy Pants Saint Nick line, which was both fun and classic elements to it.
First up is a Christmas page:

I added both green and red Basics Baker Twine to my page:

I had fun added buttons throughout the page for dimension:

I had fun working the banner, and lots of twine:

Next I created quite a few Christmas cards:

and I even created a 6x6 card,
I made the flags with washi tape (3 pack of red) which is sooo amazing:

I also created a couple more cards focusing on the washi tape itself:

Last I made a MERRY banner that I can hang up to add some festive-ness to the living room, that decorates the bookshelf:

Wedding... The Perfect Day

Hello and Happy Thursday...

one more day till Friday... but who's counting?? right... LOL

I got done a two pager the other day and was super excited. I still find them challenging to do, balancing all the embellies on two pages, but I LOVE getting alot of photos down..
So here is one from Katelin's wedding, just several photos from through out the day:

I also used Pam's 227 2 pgr sketch for this one.

Today I am getting caught back up with Christmas cards... I kinda let a few days slide, and I didn't want to get any more behind then I was.. I'm going to make 30 Cards in 30 Days... I want to be done with my Christmas cards, and then I can be ahead for once... LOL!!!!

Good Morning.... I'm up over on the My Scraps & More blog today.

I can't believe this month is almost over.. where has it gone? It is really almost December???

Well this month in the My Scraps & More forum, all the daily challenges, have been THANKFUL related. I played along last year and reallly LOVED how fun it was to scrap about the things I am thankful for.

On Monday 11.26's challenge, I lifted Maya's layout from the gallery and came up with this page:

 I used some of the Crate On Trend line from the store HERE and the Crate Acorn Ave line HERE. These two lines worked super well together.

I used some of the October Afternoon alphas for my page.. I am Thankful for Music..

Cool Car

Hello and Happy Recovering Monday....

That's what I'm calling today.. after Thanksgiving, WAY too much food, and being able to hang out as a family, it's always hard to get back in the grind of things..

Here is a layout that I created. We were walking on the main street in Cayucos and we saw this Lamborghini, Austin was in heaven!!!! and drooling over it.. so I stopped and took a pic of him with the car

I used the November Scrapbook Room sketch and the Sept kit, I used mainly the Jillibean Soup, but added some of the EP embellies, the BG banner, and Lilybee embellies that I got at the same time...

I made the flags with toothpicks and washi tape.. easy peasy:

and on the back of my card is this WONDERFUL image from the Stamp Your Life store...

I used the Printable Handmade Just for You tags....

Aren't these PERFECT for adding onto the back of your Christmas cards you'll be sending out to family and friends??? I LOVE this.. and I just punched mine out with a circle punch, so no cutting needed....

Can't wait to see what you do with the sketch!!!
