SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited I am off to a scrappy retreat with some great scrappy buddies and will be gone through Monday.. and my first trip to Texas so I am super excited!!!!! hoping to have good times, laughs and scrap too!!!

I know two pagers are few and far between for me, I don't do them enough and should do them more, esp with the millions of photos that I take.. Well where else do you take tons of pics.. Disneyland.. so these recent photos from our April trip were perfect. I used an Inspired Blueprints sketch # 26 for this and at Noel Mignon's blog she had a challenge to get a 2 pager layout done, so here is mine:

I haven't had as much time to scrap lately, with it being summer and just getting back from vacation but here are a couple pages that I recently got done and been meaning to upload. But today was nice, I actually got to scrap lots, so will have to blog it all later... This is one of my fave pics of Syd.. she just turned 6 the day before and is sooo happy.. Love that smile.

You gotta check out the latest sketch from Dawn, really made me think outside the box for this weeks sketch at IC card Sketch # 26... I just KNEW this paper from Prima was soo yummy and fun, it worked perfect with the sketch... Way to go Dawn on the cool sketch!!!

My Sketch World DT TOOT, a crop, and a 1 HR sketch challenge

Well I am SUPER excited to say, that I will continue to be able to be apart of the My Sketch World Layout DT team, for the sketches that Lucy creates!!!!!! I could NOT be more excited.. to be part of her creative team and on the message board, which is always jumping and lots of chattiness going on.....

Some Pages

Well today I actually got a bit of a nap, and so that gave me a bit of energy to get some scrappin done.. Here are a couple of pages that I got done.. I used some of the sketches from So Sketchy, such a fun sketch site and LOTS going on, always posting something new.. I really like how this page of Austin turned out. At first the big star on the sketch kinda scared me, but I did have this perfect paper to use and had fun with it.. lots of embellies.. love doing that..

ok so maybe I am WAY into those cute lil birdies since I keep on using them.. just are just soo adorable, gotta love them.. Here is a card I created using the 2 sketches 4 you Card sketch # 30 this week.. Always love to see the gorgeous cards that get created over there.. so here is mine:

Finally did it, broke in some of the Lime Rickey I had.. I've been wanting to, I just misplaced it for a few days.. oppps.. LOL.. Well made this fun card for the Card Patterns sketch # 22.. also for Jeannette's challenge at My Sketch World, to create a card with something with wings.. so used this cute lil birdie..

Hi Card

For this card I did combine two challenge.. the challenge at 365 card challenge blog for Day 131 is an ad inspired challenge.. I used the colors from the adds and took the stripes and dots to create this card.. Also used the sketch from Mojo Monday # 94.. so this is what I came up with.

Funny Card

This one was VERY hard for me, I didn't have any cute funny saying stamp sets, so that made me go off and think.. was cracks me up??? and then it hit me Far Side!!!! this has to be one of my all time fave cartoons from them.. So for the card challenge at 365 cards Day 130 the challenge was: let's see some humorous cards. so here is mine:

Finally Garden Grove is in my HOUUU-SEEE.

so I am a HUGE Scenic Route fan, always love their lines and fun patterns... This line is like no other... I patiently waited for it.. for-eva... and now, finally in the hooou---seee. I got my fun super loaded and packed kit from Diane at Two Spotted Dogs and sooo yummy.. Here are two pages I created tonight, YES I should be in bed.. tomorrow is a work day, but had to use it.. I used sketches from So Sketchy also...

Day 129 Stitching...

Today's cool challenge at 365 card challenge blog, was a little harder once I read it the second time. I thought it read, do a card with stitching and I thought ok cool, can do.. then I re-read it... the challenge is: Stitch an image on your card. Not just around the outside of the card, but an actual image. oppps.. good thing I read again.. So here is my take on it, I sewed an arrow... I used a So Sketchy Card sketch too. I also FINALLY landed some of the Scenic Route Garden Grove that I have been drooling over for months.... I think it's going to be gone soon..

Day 128 Card Recipe

I think this was one of the hardest cards I've ever made.. I just had that dying itch to add more.. but for the challenge at 365 card blog was to ONLY follow the recipe: 1 5x5 Card, 1 Rub-on image, 2 Buttons, 1 Piece of patterned paper1 piece of ribbon - NO BOW, 1 Sentiment inside the card.. so here is my take on it:

Austin, My guy

ok I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite page of Austin, he is sooo photogenic and I love his smile and his adorable freckles!!! what a cutie.. Well I found a fun new blog with cool sketches called Twisted Sketches, and here is my take on sketch # 004.. and the twist is that you use at least 1 Transparency - it can be any sort of see through embellishment. I punched circles out of some Hambly transparency papers and added them through out the layout...

I thought this photo was fitting to share for my 4th of July blogging.. I just want to thank all those who have gone forward, and are still putting their lives on the line for our countries freedoms and for making it possible for the freedoms that we have!!! thank you.. and Happy 4th to all.... For this page I used the pink sketch # 37 and of course more of the yummy Scenic Route.

USA card

Well in honor of the 4th of July I created this card for two challenge, first I used the July 1st card sketch from Lucy at My Sketch World, what a cool sketch too!!!! love the long card look. Also the challenge for the day at 365 card challenge blog is to create a red, white and blue card.. so perfect here is mine.. I think this is my all time fave 4th line from Scenic Route..

Smile... Early Bird Card

I just found this fun cool blog site, called Mojo Monday and thought I would try out their cool sketch for the week, sketch # 93... Here is my take on it, sooo lovin this Early Bird line, now that I finally broke into it.. I LOVE that this paper is perfect for cutwork, something I used to do all the time, but kinda got away from, so love picking back up that technique again..

Lil Lady- Triple the Sketch

What a fun cool sketch from Triple the sketch for sketch # 63... LOVE the open space, something I don't do enough, but love the look of, so this got me into the open space thing today.. Also for my bracket I used a MME laundry line bracket stamp and then outlined a doodle of it... Plus I think I now have officially used all my Girl Friday Cosmo Cricket line.. LOVE It...
