Sassafras Goods

I have to say, that I always love the designs and patterns on the Sassafras papers and embellies, they are always super cute and made great cutwork.. esp this line with the clouds, mushrooms, and apples.. sooo super fun to play with and I just couldn't make one page. I had to do several.. Also used some open white space, something I love seeing done on others work, but usually forget to do myself.

Scrappin Fun

Wow, I've actually had some time to scrap lately and have been having fun. I had taken a 3 week hiatus, and every time I take a break, I get soo nervous before I feel like I'm back at it.. kinda like some lost mojo.. so now I'm back and scrappin and feelin good.. Just adore the colors and the fun new Chatterbox goods that I finally had time to break into.. the papers are soo yummy and great rich colors to use.. I also just am in love with the fun felt embellies and borders.. plus I just love journaling and dates circles, and their coordinating spots are always the perfect touch to add.... Diane at Two Spotted Dogs put togethe this wonderful kit, and was soo fun to play with.

What a cool sketch from Tamara!!!! oh my gosh, I have NEVER used this many photos on a single page or 2 pager layout!!! this was super fun and completely out of my element forsure. Of course everytime we go to the beach I take a ton of photos.. and was so glad to actually get them all in one place.. LOVE the Scenic Route Grafton line too and is just perfect for beach photos too...

Black Magic Sketch #2 Jan

LOVE the fun sketches from Black Magic Sketches and this month's are fun as always.. The colors are pink, white, and turquoise and rub ons- I used the very cool Glitz silver ones down the side of my page... and as always American Crafts has super fun, bold, bright colored papers to match this cool color combo.. here is a photo of me and my good scrap buddy Alecia from scrapfest back in September...

Wet & Wild Fun

Sometimes you just gotta make one of those ultra girlie fun pages!!! lots of pink, bling bling, and flowers.. what more can a girl want? Well I'm not really a pink girl, and I like bling, just don't have much of it.. but I always love flowers.. Sydney is such a girlie girl.. so thought I would take these fun summer photos- esp since I can't wait for the warm weather back- and make her a page.. and this is what I did.... ta dah....

Limitied Edition

I still love this line from Pink Paislee, one of their first, but just love the muted colors, esp the soft greens in it.. but kinda felt like going a bit vintage on this page and the photo of the kids felt just right. Love this local place, that we took tons of family photos of it, the location just had sooo much to offer... will have to go back in spring and get some more photos soon.. LOVE the fun Winterfest Sketch Month going on over at Serendipity Scrapbooks.. lots of fun and inspiring sketches...

New Challenge

Well my latest Wild on Wendi challenge over at Scrap Attack is up and posted.. It's a fun twist on a recipe challenge, that is as fun as eating out- quick, easy and no dishes!!! LOL.. here is my example page.. that also uses Primary Colors... This photo was taken back in October and the kids just look soo grown up this year, I can't believe it..

LOVE the 6x12 sketch that Tamara posted for layout sketch #78 for this week!!!! such a fun size to work with, I know I need to use this size again more, well maybe I just need to scrap a whole heck of alot more!!! I think that's my problem!! LOL.. and HOW stinkin cute is the lil Monsters line from October Afternoon... I got the Two Spotted Dogs kits and it's adorable!! can't wait to break into the kit more and use it, super fun stuff!!

My Sketch World DT layout

Just LOVED this latest sketch from Lucy at My Sketch World sketch site.. I haven't done a 2 pager in forever and was sooo excited when I saw this sketch. Here are some of the recent photos from out family photo shoot that we took, and was a great way to highlight all the photos from the shoot. This page is actually for my mom's family scrapbook that I helped get started a couple years back. Each Christmas and Mothers Day, each daughter adds a page from what they and their families have been up to, and then my mom can have lots of grand-kid photos and updated of what we are doing..
